Marsha Cassel, Rutland County State Senate

I’ve been a resident of Vermont for 40 years and have always been involved in public service. I was a public school teacher for 24 years at Neshobe School, Barstow Memorial School, Castleton Village School, Rutland Middle School, and Rutland High School. And I have been a mediator for 15 years. As mediator, I have worked with UVM Extension and Vermont Family Courts.

I graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in French language and culture w/ concentration in International Relations and from the University of Vermont with a BA in teaching. I received a MS in Mediation and Applied Conflict Resolution Studies from Champlain College, and my graduate level education continues at Vermont State University at Castleton University.
